Hi all

I've been meaning to join up for awhile. Although I'm currently not a Peugeot owner I've had a few.
I got hooked on 205's when my friend Imported a white 205gti 1.9 from England back in the 90's. He had Turbo Technics (sp?)
install a Turbo with a variable boost button. Geez that thing went.

Not having his budget I found a Red 309 Gti(4door,sadface) which I loved but it wasn't a 205. Then I went mad and leased a brand new 106XSi.
A great little Go cart, but so small. Convinced the 306XSi would be better, I sold the 106 and bought the 306. It wasn't.
Not a bad car, but in it's standard form it was pretty under powered.

Then finally a few years later after a Subaru Gt Legacy wagon phase I got a 205Gti Jap Import for my wife (me).
Lot's of fun, even though not a NZ new. Air con was great in summer. I shouldn't have sold it.

I'm on a mission now for another 205. I missed on a really nice white one last year, and another silver one today.Arrggh.
I haven't got the space, time or ? to fix one up myself, so need one pretty ready to go.

I can see the benefit of being part of group like this. With these car's getting on in years, having the wisdom of existing owners
would be like gold. I'm a car enthusiast, and Commercial Photographer by trade if that's of any benefit to the members.

I'll try and dig up a few shots of the old cars. When I owned these cars digital cameras weren't around, so
I'm looking through old photograph's.

Cheers
Geoff

photos of my previous Pugs, but a stock shot of the 106. Struggling to find an old photo, but am pretty sure this
is it sitting in a field now. :(
