Hi All,

I have recently bought a 309 gti - will be tidying it up and removing all the heavy rubbish (back seats etc) from it. will be used for a track/autocross/genreral driving (not a daily driver as I mainly only drive at the weekends anyway)

planning on.....
Major clean
solid rear beam mounts
decent tyres - still to be decided
building a cold air box/seperator in the engine bay
New silicone in the engine bay
quickshift kit
drilled and grooved discs with decent pads
2.25 or 2.5" SS exhaust from the powdercoated manifold.
Lots of powdercoating and painting of parts whenever they are off.
New plugs,filter,oil,leads,
towbar to carry my mountain bikes

and maybe some bigger brakes and a valves etc once I figure out what to do :)

My first goal is to make over 113bhp per tonne at the wheels.

Howdy. Love 309 GTi's.

You going to make the tow bar easily removable? Lots of extra weight in that.

Welcome Jesus.

The Christchurch chapter is clearly now the best. We have Christ himself in our ranks. Top that North Island!
