had a car cleaning day recently. Yes, I know one of them is German,,,,,,,,,,but Bluey definitely qualifies as a FastFrog!!

Nice E46! Is that the one built by HellBM? Proper build that one!

you, myrush, are a well informed man!!  Yes, HellBM were the builders of this 1-of-less-than-10-in-the-world e46 M3 Touring tribute. It's actually better now (aesthetically) than when it left HellBM's ownership, imho. Awesome car, but I actually prefer the drive and vibe of my Clio to the German thing.

And as long as we are Showing Off Our Rides.......the one that started all this French love affair.....had this one for 11 years now and still love it. Even if there is not really garage space for it any more!!

1994 205 GTI-c. The 'c' stands for Classic. Number 26/30 in NZ. The very last of the GTI's in NZ. Basically a marketing exercise by Peugeot to shift the very last of the model in NZ. Apparently they were $42k when new. Dearer than the top of the line Commodore at the time. Ouch.

MYRUSH

Yeah Ive noticed it has a few nice add-ons since it left Rays hands
Thats a nice array of cars you have

none of the cars in my garage would come close, either in out-and-out speed or aural pleasure, as the v10 in your garage. Tasty!!

BUT......4 doors. Always a downer for me!

MYRUSH

The v10 definitely please the ears :)
I was after a coupe and looked into the M6 V10, but its not great to look at, the design and shape doesn't do it for me

managed to write of my landy the other week, so had to replace it.. Thought i'd get a good family run around to take the kids to school. Some how managed to persuade rach that what we needed was another peugeot of the 3 door variety :) i know it's not a classic peugeot but i must admit i do like it. Although it's funny how much more fun my 85hp 205 xs is on the windy back roads ;)

Great idea for a family car. And even better for going for a hoon down the back road.

Yeah it sure is fun down the back roads to rotorua from our place :) Seems like a good one too (figures crossed), one owner, full service history and 122k on the clock. The mission now is trying to teach our 3 kids how not to trash the inside of car in 5 seconds flat...

Hi all,
the following pics are from our works teams 24 hours of LeMons 1987 Renault 21.
This was the bosses work car for a number of years before failing a wof about 10 years ago and getting parked under a tree.
In June 2107 we dragged it out, got it going, fitted the moustache and the aerodynamic roof foil and then drove the wheels off of it at Hampton Downs for 3 days in Sept 2017.
Since then it has done 2 open days at Pukekohe and 2 more endurance events at Hampton Downs including NZ's first 24 hour race.
It has near as dammit 150,000 miles on it and doesn't miss a beat!
At the last event it did a total of 565 laps of the national track at Hampton (1582 k's) with only brake pad wear the only concern.
It is booked again to do the straight 24 hour event in May 2019 and the 3 day event in September.
If you want to see more about the event, look up 24lemonNZ either in google or on facebook.
Thanks.

Nice one! It's weird how many Super 5s were that colour.

How neglected is it..?

its been sitting in a shed for 30 years with the head removed (had stripped sparkplug threads!) owner passed away so not sure if any other issues
the bores have some kind of grease/anti seize on them so hopefully find all the engine parts rebuild head and attempt to get it running/ reregister
some patches of surface rust/lower door rust

i quite like the brown (insides of doors still look good) but wife is talking about a different colour (it was her great uncles)

My dad and I are about finished a DS restoration, and have a few parts lying about. Maybe even a 2175cc engine (with head).

Whereabouts are you and the car?

Colour is critical to get right with a DS. I also quite like the brown, but I don't think a lot of people share that view!
