He used to do a lot of our PSA stuff when I was working in Chch. Hopefully he still has some good suppliers!
I looked at this site. There are pictures of motorcycles and jet skis in the services - https://www.hpeas.co.nz/Our-Services/. This person doesn't repair cars, only motorcycles and jet skis?

Hi! I am the happy owner of a Peugeot 308. It's a pleasure to join you. Not sure if I'll post on the forum often, but I can see that there are some interesting questions here.
Another man from Melbourne. I'm in Melton, close by. Where are you from?
Hi, all!

Hi Ted,

Has your car been parked up for a while?
With all the damp weather connections and earths can lose their conductivity. 9v down to 3v maybe? Check that earth points are not corroded.

Is the fuel regulator at the right pressure? If it is failing to regulate properly extra pressure could supply more fuel through the injectors.
If all cylinders have similar amounts and are getting spark the ECU may still be OK.

Is the return fuel line from engine back to tank free of obstructions?

Hi Folks, From new I have a 205 1.9 1987 in mint condition with 64,000 mls on the clock. Recently i needed a warrant but when starting it, it instantly flooded. Removing the plugs the gaps were bridged with liquid fuel. All plugs do spark. Siphoned about 5 ml fuel from a cylinder. Is this a sticking cold start injector? Also noticed that the airflow sensor is not receiving 9v but is under 3 V. Perhaps the problem is in the ECU? Has anyone any suggestions please.

This can take a long time to sort out and never find the cause. Or eliminate it and it will reappear after a time.
I sold a 205.

Hello from Melbourne, Australia!

I maintain the https://205.si website, a collection of info about the Australian 205 Si

Cheers
Nik

Once upon a time I had a 205. But that was so long ago, I've already forgotten. All I remember is that it was a bit of a problem car for me.
How is it for you?

Welcome to Fast Frogs natumbri.

Apart from your 205Si site I see you are a regular participant in aussiefrogs.com

I run a 309 SRi so information on 205s often applies to it. Not sure if there are many in Aust. It has similar running gear to 205 GTi 1.6.

Cheers,
Bryan
