Haya people, new forum member here!

Emm... about myself... I have my little Puegeot 1.6L 16V as my daily runabout for the last 2-3 years.  Small, chuckable and great on petrol.  Had fun trying to fix her up cosmetically and the occasional repair.  But fast she was not... so then then brought meself a orange Megane 225 Cup...  It's a great car, just not great "transportation".   I'll try to work on the megane when I manage to pay off all my debts, but that's probably gonna take awhile...  :'(

I'm looking for something more fun to replace my 206 as my daily work car, maybe a Cilo 172/182, have to see what my bank account allows.

That's about it from me, glad to make your virtual acquiescences!

Welcome, and nice looking cars you have there. 225's are pretty sweet, why not great transportation - too stiffly sprung for your liking?

Which Pug 1.6 16v was it?  A 106 GTi?  They are such cool little cars!

Hmm... did the attached pics not work?   The Pug is a 206xsi.

The electrical connectors on the megane are HORRIBLE.  The clips break, they don't conduct unless I saturate them with electrical cleaner.  Had to redo the wiring for both the front seats for the airbags/seatbeat pretentioners.  Had a few times where the plugs to the ECU weren't conducting properly and the car won't start at all.  The gear linkage cables also died while I was on a trip to the Coromandel.  Luckily the car crapped itself right in front of the batch we were staying in.  Limped the car to the town mechanic in 3rd gear lol.

Great car it is, but transportation are supposed to be reliable.  That's why I keep both, so I always have a contingency plan :D

Oops - my bad!  Didn't realise the 1.6 was the 206.  ::) Yeah, that is not a fast car.  A 206 GTi180 would be a bit quicker!
