Gidday and welcome. Start a thread for your XSI - there will be people on here interested to see how you get on.

Camera Doctor is also in the Sth Is. 2KCup, running a 205GTI. Check out his thread http://www.fastfrogs.co.nz/index.php/topic,9722.135.html (http://www.fastfrogs.co.nz/index.php/topic,9722.135.html) I'm sure you'll start talking Pugs & hit it off with him.

Welcome, both to FF and 2K Cup !

Last year I was basically the lone Euro !!   There was a Golf GTi that got written off early in the year and a 306xsi that ran one meet but ran a bearing - wasn't your was it ??

First meet this year there were 4 Euros, so getting there !

Have you Baffled the sump in your 306 ?  --- as I say, one came out and had surge issues :(

Both my 205's are dead it the moment, I hope to have one ready for Round one - most likely the backup car, as running out of time to finish the repairs on the other.

Don't see you on the starter list :(

I am guessing you are having issues with the 306 :(

There are a fair few 306s in the NI that didn't make it to round 1 as well!

Hope this car gets up and at them soon.  :D

Hi Guys
long story but car still not running :-[ after re-build the ECU had locked, ordered an unlocked ECU from the UK. Plugged it in and only ran on 2 cylinders, (2 and 4 from the gearbox side)no spark or fuel on other cylinders, emails back and forth, supplier was not much help almost useless. With the help of a friend, and many hours testing and changing electrical parts, cam sensor, crank sensor, coil packs, double relay. the problem is in the ECU they supplied, the ignition drivers are faulty >:( >:( >:(. So ecu they supplied, back to them to be replaced + my original ECU to be unlocked and any other faults corrected (if any) at no cost to myself. Do not know how long this will take so have sourced another ECU from a different supplier in the UK, Hopefully that will be here in about a week. Will keep you all updated
