got driveshafts?
i'll have a set soonish
got trim strips?
mean i've got some just need cvs. too cheap etc.
Will trim strips from a 309 fit, Al?
nonononononnonononononnononono
yeah ok I dunno i thought if the doors were the same and shit the red inserts would be too
doors are the same, trim is different - 309 = big and chunky, 205 = delicate
yo cam ill have a set of good 205 gti drive shafts left over if your interested?
205 drive shafts are for pussies :P
^ yuh./
nah got 309 gear boeeee. my shafts don't have outer cv's though. I've heard/read mixed results about using 309 or 205 shafts with 309 arms when lowered. apparently you can roll with 205 if it's like 40mm low but yuh. prolly would need to reduce the extension of shocks to roll that thus 309 ones = the key.
sell your 205 ones for heaps. I got $80 for my 1.6 ones fromt he car I wrecked and they were rooted! 1.9 ones = more girth = more pleasing for the ladies = profit
/\ :D
205 driveshafts can be used, but they can be sketchy/clicky under heavy cornering/proper driving
cant make the FS section work, so anyway - the white donor 309 gti is goin to the scrappy tomorrow - any last requests?
(sus and wheels, motor etc gone)
