Good luck finding 2nd hand tyres that size!  I've been searching on and off on TM for the last year for spare tyres for my 106 and have only seen some once!  Just buy some new ones or go and see Rob at Euroline in Drury (Auckland)

Are you after filters/fluids etc???

Gidday Steve,

I'm a newb 106 owner also- so welcome, and please posts some pics when you have 'em.
Are you wanting a single tyre or a full set? If you are looking to replace full set I would recommend Yokohama 175/60 R14 79H. I have these on mine- they have a strange tread pattern but the grip is phenomenal! Not sure if the 10mm difference in width would be be an issue on your rims tho.

Cheers
Kyle

175/60 R14
Thats the size my XSi had on it (maybe even 65 profile I cant remember) but my GTi has 185/55/14 as well.

The slightly smaller profile looks nicer, whether they factors that into the speedo calibration I dont know.

I just replaced the spare on my GTi and even buying new I couldnt find a single tyre shop in Wellington who had one in stock (though they could all order them in) so I dont like your chances of finding a second hand one.  Either buy a new one or if theyre not avaiable anymore buy two new ones for that end of the car.
