Welcome along - this all sounds very intriguing! I assume you are not in NZ, as there are very few privately imported ZX 16v here. I know of only one.

I did a fair bit of work on them back in the day in the UK, and seriously contemplated bringing one back to NZ with me. Kinda wish I had one now to do an XU10J4RS conversion.
