well i was the only one who got a spot so i was there all by my self holing up the fast banner! was a sweet day weather was perfect and track was just awsome. once again the pug didnt let me down and managed to embrace a few cars along the way (s2000 honda,mr2's,e36 328 race car!). now figured out all the pug needs is semi slicks and ill be flying! i was stuggling for grip all day. my pirelli's just not up to scratch!

got to drive one of the orange e36 328 race cars (for a 50 buck sum). was worth it in my opinion as i got to feel the difference semi slicks make. and OMG! massive difference. will be looking into getting a set asap!

umm 106 is ex club sport that has been chopped and lightened to the extreme. front bonnet and wings are moulded in fiberglass and so is the boot with plastic window. completely stripped ect. running slicks. was faster than me! only because of the tires tho.

I was there the day before you in my bog standard GTi6.

That 106 was there too, I was a fair bit quicker than it... a good few seconds a lap.

I also spent the last half of the day getting intimate with an old flame.

The GTi6 was a bit out of its depth around here... surprising given that it felt so good at Taupo. The Lotus was so much better it wasn't funny (despite the Lotus being less than 130bhp!)

Here's me being followed by my mate's R33 Skyline (on slicks). Let him and the RS4 that was following him on lap 3, managed to just about keep up with them after that (I was trying a bunch of new lines while I was ahead of them, none of which worked too successfully! Watch me miss the apex in turn 1 by several metres!)
