just wondering why the website is down? i cannot access this forum from my computer :o anyone know what it is?

and got a quick question about parts compatibility.
will an ignition barrel from a 3 door hatch 306 fit in a 5 door hatch 306? cant confirm the year of the 3 door sorry.

Hi and welcome. No problems with the website that I can tell- try checking your web browser settings?
Steering columns should be the same so yes ignition barrels should be interchangeable, though later models had chip in the key to match car immobiliser so be aware of that.

Hi Dub.
yea while doing my reaserch I found out that my key has a chip in it so the plan is to move the chip to a new key and use it.
Don't exactly how though. Hope it's not so difficult.
Well the good news is I managed to find a ignition barrel! Gosh it took me nearly 3 weeks to get a hold of it! so hope it works and everything.
Will find out later tonight.
