its about time I introduced myself and show my rides
My name is Lawrence and I own several cars ,6 being French- 3 fast(ish) and 3 comfortable
the fastish are - 1986 Citroen Visa GTI, 1990 Citroen AX GT (injected) 3 door & 1992 Citroen AX GT 5 Door (phase 2),
The less fast are again Citroens, 1972 Dyane, 1981 GSA & 1982 Visa (652cc)
I Have owned the visa gti for over 7 years and it is such an enjoyable drive, it is in need of a derust operation and a repaint, but while it wont happen overnight it will happen.
The green AX I have owned for over 5 years and has been one of the best cars in terms of dependability I have ever owned, so the white AX 3 door that joined my collection a few months ago will be as treasured as my green one

Welcome, a nice little collection you have there. I do like Visa GTI's, but there's not many around in NZ.
Where are you located? It would be good to see you at a meet up sometime  8)

There's quite a few Auckland based members, but meet up's are usually just the Frenchies, and advertised in the events section here.
I believe a few guys have made it along to Caffeine and Classics on occasion, but is a pretty big event now I'm told - easy to miss people/cars I guess, though I'm surprised some of our members haven't spied your car out of the crowd and come for a chat already!

Welcome, love the Visa Gti as well. 6 cars in your collection gave me a little grin and chuckle  ;D

vivalavisa

yes 6 frenchies, but there are a couple of non frenchies too!  I have a 2014 Fiat Panda easy (2 cyl turbo) as an everyday workhorse which is a lot of fun, and a 1989 Volvo 480es- because its sort of French (Renault motor and gearbox).
8 cars may seem to some as a little OTT but I don't have kids or pets so its easy to justify. They do keep me financially focused :P
