Hi all

I'm a BMW owner and drive an e34 540i that I converted to 6speed by importing a box etc from the states and am currently in the process of semi-stripping it down for regular track duty.

I'm interested in reading up about other european cars (particularly fast ones) and figured this would be a good board to join.

Cheers

Ian

Hey Ian,  still got the e34 eh? How bout the schnitzers? So is this the second  e34 with the 6speeder in the country. I sold my E32 last year. Nice to see holding on to your beast. You will find lots of fast frogs here literally (mine isn't one of them though lol!)

I'm from Auckland and yes i'm on Bimmersport (gasp!).  I am known as Ian_540i6 there and was asking about your R5 :)

I am the second person to convert an e34 540i to manual in NZ, but the first to independently source parts overseas etc (as far as I know anyway).

Still got the schnitzers, have found the staggered setup to induce understeer when tracking it so moved to a square slick setup...works much better.

Thanks for the warm welcome :)
