Noobie 1st Post, 'Hi All' - Harlan from Auckland.

Hey Team,

Just a short 1st post to say 'Hi All'.

We've had a 309GTi and loved it (sadly written off on the Harbour Bridge), have often sifted through pages here so last month decided joining was a good idea as there will be some questions shortly!

Currently driving a '91 MX5 and an '88 HR31 GTR.

Yeah quite gutting actually, I wasn't in the car but someone failed to stop and it was simply 'in the way'!

Hi Pee Dubbaya and again cheers very much for the great welcoming, appreciated. Yeah, I think so... keep seeing nice little GTi's zooming round and have always wanted another one, white ones defnitely do it for me but any color is good.

I just need to learn a bit about which ones are the ones to go for and, well you guys know what I mean - 'what t look out for'!

White seems to be fairly rare here in NZ. 2052NV has/is a white 205!
As for the thread he linked- it is in our classifieds section so is off limits until you've posted a minimum of 10 times. Mainly to stop people joining just to try and sell their car. Post a couple more times and you'll be able to see it fine.

Team - as you know we're after a 205GTi but honestly, where are all the good'uns at - are they all seriously located down in the Shakey Isles!!!!

Almost about to go to ChCh to check out the white one, what do we know about this particular pug (and maybe the ash gray car in Ashvegas)) - some PM's or hints would be appreciated.

Would you see fit to vett for me a couple of the 205GTi's please?

I'm talking to James who has the nice white one on TM, he's seemingly very straight up and we're also 'looking' (have also asked a couple of noobie questions) on the TM Listing presently running a little further down the line for the grey one.

Thing is, all my heart wants another pug 205/309GTi but my brain tells me to get a Mk. II Golf Gti.

Any chance you will be able to direct me to something decent or advise a tad?
