Hi guys and gals. I have a 106 gti that will be up for sale soon as we're having twins and needing to get a minivan  :-\. I bought it a few years ago with the anticipation that it will appreciate in value. Ideally I would have kept it for a few more years, but don't want it just sitting around gathering dust.

So I'm wondering what it might be worth.
Nz new
Manual
114k on the clock
Leather interior
Lowered on bilstein nurburgring springs and shocks
The paint is a bit shit but mechanically the car is 100%.

What would it be worth? I saw a tidy 106 rallye on tm recently for about 8k, but I dont think the gti would be woth that much

Pee Dubbaya

Around 3-4k is my guess. Nice Rallyes command a premium these days.
Current: Peugeot 205 GTI 16v  +  504 (Project)

Given what I have bought 2 for in the last 18 months I would say the Pee Dub is pretty much on the money there.

Mint paint depending on the colour, along with good mechanicals would prob fetch 4-5k
04 Clio RS - daily
03 Hirsch Saab 9-5 Sportcombi - family wagon
97 106 Gti - Current 2KCUP car - unknown quantity.
97 106 Gti - road car currently in bits after offering itself up as a sacrifice to the race car.
