hi there
im andy ive got a  uk import 205gti which i have had for about2 years now,ive pulled it off the road now cause the rings have gone unfortunitly,so i was thinking of rebuilding and modifying the engine, has anyone got any ideas on what i could do? im not to sure weither its worth rebuilding and modding up the 205 or try and get hold of a mi16 and modifiying that?ive started on the body and am modifying that a bit too.cheers drtdvl for the info, i meet ya at dairy flat.

or like a gas turbine maybe..

get the head reconditioned, ported and polished. Also i remember cooterdoug saying to get the head machined 1/16th past the mark on the head to raise compression a bit. youll need to run it on 98 fuel though.
also dry sump ftw and have a perspex oil tank where the passenger seat used to be.

note: i have never done any of this.
